Classic Beef Chili - 6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 28 ounces pinto beans, canned, drained
- 14 ounces diced tomatoes, canned
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
Directions
- Brown the meat in a skillet.
- Add meat and remaining ingredients to slow cooker.
- Cover; cook on Low 10-12 hours or High 5-6 hours.
